Arrange the stems into the wreath form by inserting the stems and weaving them into the vines. Try out different spacing to see what you like best. I started like this, and ended up moving the stems closer together to fit the other two in better. Using pieces of the brown yarn or twine, begin to tie the flowers around the wreath. The brown yarn hides nicely with the wreath. I hid the knot on the back of the wreath and fluffed out any flowers that looked stuck. And you're ready to hang! You could also add a pretty bow to finish it off, but I thought it was just as nice without one. I left mine looking a little "wild", but you could wrap the flowers more neatly with the twine if you prefer that look instead. Told you it was simple! My only word of caution, be prepared for the grapevine wreath to make a huge mess! Luckily we have tile floors, so it was an easy clean up. |
